Also known asnorth_korean_state_sponsored_actors

North Korean state-sponsored cyber threat actors referenced as hostile nation-state adversaries to the United States, alongside China, Russia, and Iran. The content notes increasing collaboration among hostile nation-state actors, including sharing attack code and threat intelligence. Per Mandiant’s 2022 zero-day exploitation tracking, North Korean actors exploited two zero-day vulnerabilities in 2022, specifically CVE-2022-0609 and CVE-2022-41128. Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) reporting cited in the content states that North Korean state-sponsored actors misuse generative AI tools to enhance multiple stages of cyber operations, including reconnaissance, phishing, command-and-control development, and data exfiltration.
