Contagious Interview is a North Korean threat actor crew targeting cryptocurrency and Web3 developers. The provided reporting states the group uses fake job interviews and malicious npm packages to compromise victims. Researchers traced one malicious npm package, "tailwind-magic," to a Vercel staging server and a GitHub account with 18 repositories, and reported that since October the crew had pushed 197 additional malicious packages targeting crypto and Web3 developers. The content also states the group used the OtterCookie payload, which targets browser wallets, steals seed phrases, and provides remote shell access. Alias explicitly mentioned in the content: "Contagious Interview" / "contagious_interview_crew".
