TEMP.Vermin

Also known asTEMP.Vermin

TEMP.Vermin is a Russian-linked espionage threat actor tracked as UAC-0020. Ukraine’s CERT-UA has linked the group to security agencies of the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR/LNR). Reporting describes the actor as targeting organizations and individuals connected to the Russia-Ukraine war, particularly through lure content themed around drone production and development, anti-drone defense systems, video surveillance security systems, and broader aerospace themes. TEMP.Vermin has deployed the malware families VERMONSTER, SPECTRUM (also reported publicly as Spectr/SPECTR), and FIRMACHAGENT. The group has used themed infrastructure and domains masquerading as legitimate services or aerospace-related entities to support these operations. Known alias: UAC-0020.
