About the Role

Mallory is looking for a Founding Sales Leader to build and own the go-to-market motion from the ground up. You'll be the first dedicated sales hire — working directly with the CEO to turn early product-market fit into a repeatable, scalable revenue engine.

Our platform uses AI to correlate thousands of threat intelligence sources and contextualize them to a customer's environment. Security teams use Mallory to go from signal to action without the operational grind. We're backed by Decibel Partners with participation from senior leaders at Google, Robinhood, Cisco, Fastly, and GreyNoise.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for enterprise and mid-market security teams
  • Build and iterate on the go-to-market playbook — messaging, qualification, pricing, and deal structure
  • Develop deep relationships with CISOs, security leaders, and technical buyers
  • Partner with the founder on positioning, competitive strategy, and product feedback loops
  • Establish the sales infrastructure: CRM, pipeline metrics, forecasting, and reporting
  • Hire and mentor the first sales reps as the team scales
  • Represent Mallory at industry events, conferences, and in the cybersecurity community

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3 years selling cybersecurity or threat intelligence products
  • Track record of closing six-figure deals with security and IT leadership
  • Experience as an early sales hire or founding seller at a startup (Series A or earlier preferred)
  • Deep understanding of the CISO buying process, procurement cycles, and security team workflows
  • Ability to sell a technical product to both technical and executive audiences
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can build process from scratch

Nice to Have

  • Existing relationships with CISOs and security leaders at mid-market and enterprise organizations
  • Background in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or attack surface management
  • Experience with product-led growth or hybrid PLG + sales motions
