LunaSpy is an Android spyware Trojan discovered in 2025. It was observed being distributed through messengers and disguised as antivirus software or banking protection tools. Reported capabilities include exfiltrating browser passwords, SMS messages, and call logs, as well as recording audio and capturing video. The campaign primarily targeted Android users in Russia. Kaspersky identified LunaSpy as a notable 2025 mobile threat and described it as part of a malware campaign active since at least the end of February 2025.
