Stored XSS in Juniper Networks Junos Space
CVE-2025-59978 is a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos Space caused by improper neutralization of user-supplied input during web page generation. Junos Space fails to adequately sanitize and/or output-encode attacker-controlled data stored in application data fields within the management interface. An attacker can inject script tags or equivalent malicious JavaScript payloads into stored content, which is later rendered in the Junos Space web UI. When another user, particularly an administrative user, views the affected page, the payload executes in the context of that user’s browser session and inherits that user’s privileges. The issue affects all Junos Space versions prior to 24.1R4.
