CVE-2010-2772 is a vulnerability in Siemens Simatic WinCC and PCS 7 SCADA systems, where a hard-coded password allows local users to access the back-end database and escalate privileges. This vulnerability was exploited in the wild by the Stuxnet worm in July 2010, enabling attackers to manipulate industrial control systems. The vulnerability is distinct from CVE-2010-2568 and was a key component in Stuxnet's attack chain against Iranian nuclear enrichment infrastructure.
