RediSearch query injection in Spring AI RedisVectorStore TAG filters
CVE-2026-22744 affects spring-ai-redis-store in Spring AI. In RedisFilterExpressionConverter, when a user-controlled string is used as a filter value for a TAG field, the stringValue() logic inserts that value directly into the RediSearch TAG query fragment in the form @field:{VALUE} without escaping special characters. Because TAG filter values are incorporated into RediSearch query syntax without proper neutralization, an attacker can craft input that breaks out of the intended literal TAG value context and injects additional query syntax. The issue affects Spring AI versions from 1.0.0 before 1.0.5 and from 1.1.0 before 1.1.4.
