CVE-2026-41880 is an OS command injection vulnerability in the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) module of R-SOFT DMS. Multiple command execution functions accept user-controllable file paths and pass them to the system shell over SSH without proper sanitization. Under the standard web upload flow in the current infrastructure, URL encoding reportedly neutralizes injection, but the underlying flaw remains present in the OCR processing path. An authenticated attacker who can trigger OCR processing for an uploaded file may be able to inject and execute operating system commands in the context of the root user. The vulnerability affects versions earlier than v3.19-2862 and earlier than v3.17-2580.
