CVE-2026-9282 is a directory traversal vulnerability in the W3 Total Cache plugin for WordPress affecting all versions through 2.9.4. The flaw is present in the setupSources function and can be triggered when manual minify mode is enabled and a manual-format minify filename is supplied in a way that leaves the hash value empty, allowing f_array[] entries to remain attacker-controlled before execution reaches setupSources(). Under those conditions, an unauthenticated attacker can traverse directories and cause the application to read arbitrary files from the underlying server filesystem.
